Welcome to our latest Creature Feature. HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!

Now you may or may not celebrate the Chinese new year, however since it the year of the dog, I couldn’t let it go unnoticed! And why not celebrate anyway 🙂

So according to chinese astrology, each year is related to a  Chinese zodiac animal; and 2018 is a dog year.

Here are a few traits I read about for those (humans) born under the year of the dog:

‘Dogs’ (Humans born under the dog year) are loyal and honest, amiable and kind, cautious and prudent. Due to having a strong sense of loyalty and sincerity, Dogs will do everything for the person who they think is most important….Sounds a bit like the real dogs we know!

As ‘Dogs’ (Humans born under the dog year) are not good at communication, it is difficult for them to convey their thoughts to others. Therefore, Dogs tend to leave others with the impression that they have a stubborn personality… Well in fact real dogs are great communicators; its just us humans that have problems understanding them!

In heavy work periods and frequent social activities, they should ensure they get plenty of rest in addition to taking proper exercise, which will benefit both their physical and mental health. Since Dogs are not keen about seeking money and power, they feel less stressed and tense at work and in their home life…. Interesting! Did you know dogs need around 14 hours of sleep a day? And more for puppies. Maybe we can learn something from our dogs?…..
